How We Actually Started
Back in 2019, Kiran and I were working at different financial firms in Bangkok. We kept running into the same problem — risk assessment tools that took forever to process applications and somehow still missed obvious red flags. During one particularly frustrating week where we'd seen three obviously problematic loans get approved, we decided something had to change.
The idea wasn't revolutionary at first. We just wanted to build something that could spot patterns humans consistently missed, but do it faster and more accurately. We spent weekends testing algorithms on anonymized data sets, gradually realizing we were onto something significant.
By 2022, we had our first working prototype. By 2024, local businesses started asking if they could use our system. Now we're processing thousands of assessments monthly for companies across Thailand, and honestly, we're still a bit surprised by how much this has grown.
